December 5th Supreme Court Hearing

On December 5th the Supreme Court will have a preliminary conference to discues whether President elect Barak Obama's citizenship. During the convention mania stage of the election, questions were raised by Hilary supporters of whether or not Obama was truely a US citizen. His Grandmother claims she was in the delivery room in Kenya when he was born, and he also attended school in Indonesia during a time when only Indonesion students were allowed to be in the school system. The Supreme Court's job on December 5th is to determine if a full scale investigation should be launched and how to proceed.
So this is the bottom line:
The only question that I see needs to be answered:
  1. Was Obama born in Kenya?
If so, he can't legally be president. The Constitution states in Article II Section 1 that: "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President." Now, being a natural born citizen means being born on US soil or in certain territories considered part of the US. I'm pretty sure Kenya doesn't fit into that category. So it's quite simple, ust figure out where Obama was born and that should answere the question. But what Democrat likes to make things simple?

In doing research for the above statements, I found little to no mention of this dilema for Obama on any major news source (ABC, NBC, CBS, you know who they are). It really didn't suprise me that they fail to cover any possible slip-ups concerning Obama, I've come to expect it, but that's for another time. The only place I found information was worldnewsdaily.com. I woudl highly suggest readers to visit their sight and see what they have on Obama's citizenship beucase they do a much better job than I do.

While I was there, I saw an interview with the Kenyan ambassador, Peter N.R.O. Ogego, who claimed not to know if Obama was born in Kenya or not. Now him not knowing isn't a big deal; if I was the ambassador to such a large nation, I wouldn't know everyone who was born there. The point is, nobody seems to know where he was born. So my question is, why was he even allowed to run for office if the most basic qualification may not be met? It seems like the Obama campaign would want to clear that up before investing millions of dollars into a campaign that could be shut down very quickly by declaring him a non US citizen. And the other thing that bothers me is that the Obama camp refuses to produce his supposed Hawaii birth certificate. If they want this matter cleared up, why not prove everyone wrong  right now and prove he is a citizen? My guess is that they either don't have it, or know it's a possible fake as many foerign born babies in teh 60's were given Hawaiin birth certificates.

Another lesson from my father addresses this very topic. When I was younger, and still to this day a litte, I was terrified of going through airport metal detectors becuase I was terrified that they would go off and I would get in trouble. But my father would always reassure me saying: "If you've got nothing to hide, you've got nothing to worry about." I say the same principle applies to the Obama camp, if you've got nohting ot hide, then show us, but if you do, then there's something to worry about. I trust the Supreme Court will do thier job in investigating the situation, but I have to wonder what the Obama camp would do if their president elect was threatened with losing all that they've worked for? STOP AND THINK
